Mandolin Wonders Orchestra is a group of students learning under the guidance of Mandolin Maestro Shri Pradipto Sengupta, our Guru. Currently, there are 25 students learning to play & improve Mandolin playing under his insightful teaching.

Shri Pradipto Sengupta is a well known string instruments exponent and is highly admired for his extraordinary mandolin playing in Mumbai’s music circle including famous music directors. He is also in great demand for conducting orchestra all over India.

As Mandolin is a difficult instrument, students work hard to improve their control over the instrument as per lessons taught by the Guru. They practice regularly under his unique style of teaching and have over the time, come to a level where Mandolin playing becomes very enjoyable.

The proof of their learning was recently observed when 13 of his students performed publicly at Bhavan’s cultural centre, Mumbai. It was an emotional moment for both the Guru as well as the students as about 300/350 audience showered their praise on the performance of the students by thunderous applause to each item presented . We, the students hope to keep improving under the able guidance of our Guru, Shri Pradipto Sengupta and hope to present such entertaining programs in future at regular intervals.
